Queensland tourism destinations received more accolades this month with the release of the Escape Travel Survey results. Escape Travel surveyed 12,000 domestic travellers from around the country and found 45% of respondents prefer to visit Queensland more than any other state.
Results also showed Queensland has five of the top six destinations to visit.
Surfers Paradise
took out the number 1 spot, followed by Melbourne, the
Whitsundays,
Port Douglas,
Noosa and
Cairns.
